The RESTART and EXPAND open calls addresses the agrifood economy on the medium term. SmartAgriHubs has assigned up to 5,000,000€ funding to these open calls, addressing DIHs that are supporting diverse stakeholders in the agrifood economy and specifically SMEs as drivers for digital innovation.

The Regional Council, the Chamber of Agriculture of Pays de la Loire and several public entities formed a partnership in order to help the producers of the 5 departments composing the region to find local and prosperous outlets.
To support the agri-food sector in the recovery of the COVID-19 crisis, the Commission launched two calls for proposals for promotion programmes. These calls complement the exceptional market-specific support measures recently adopted by the European Commission.
The webinar will focus on short-term reactions to COVID-19 related to S3/S4 governance, on the medium/long-term role of S3/S4 in the post-recovery period, and related policy implications. This webinar is within SMARTER 2020 Conference Webinar series, organised by JRC and RSA Europe.
